European Studies Certificate Program

  EUROPEAN STUDIES CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Students who want to deepen their knowledge in European politics, law, history, societies and cultures and develop a regional expertise can pursue a European Studies Certificate Program (ESCP). The Program will prepare students for competitive careers in private, public, and non-profit sectors in the context of Turkey’s EU accession process and existing economic, political, and social links with Europe. Students who successfully complete the requirements will be awarded a certificate upon graduation.

REQUIREMENTS: INTL 330 (required) plus 3 electives, at least two of which should be from a program other than the student’s major. For students, who participate in an Erasmus exchange, at most one Erasmus course can be counted toward the ESCP. Average of these courses must be 2.5/4.0 or higher.

There is neither an application procedure nor a special form to be filled out to participate in the program. Students who complete the requirements will be awarded a certificate.
